Terms of Service

1. What Shipshot is

Shipshot is a studio for building App Store and Google Play screenshots. You compose designs in the editor from templates, your own app screens, text and device frames; localize them into other languages; preview selected targets; and export store-ready files for manual upload. Paid plans add more projects, more locales, supported targets, templates, and licence scope.

2. Your account

You can sign in with an email address and password, or with Google or GitHub. Keep your credentials to yourself: activity through your account counts as yours. If you believe your account was compromised, change your password and contact support right away.

Give accurate information when you register, and keep it current. One person, one account. You can delete your account in Account or request deletion through support.

3. Plans, billing and refunds

Basic is free: one project with up to five screenshots. Pro and Scale are paid plans billed through Stripe, monthly or annually, in the currency shown at checkout. Plan limits (projects, locales, screenshots and licence scope) are listed on the pricing page and applied automatically when you upgrade or downgrade.

You can cancel at any time from your account. When you cancel, paid access continues until the end of the period you already paid for, and no further charges are made.

Payments are non-refundable once a billing period begins, except where the law requires a refund or when Shipshot confirms a duplicate or incorrect charge. Contact support@getshipshot.com within 14 days of the charge so it can be investigated. Nothing in this policy limits rights that cannot be waived under applicable consumer law.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of everything you upload: app screens, logos, images, fonts and text. You grant Shipshot the permissions needed to provide the service, including processing your content to save projects, render designs and deliver exports to you.

Make sure you have the right to use everything you upload. Store logos, device frames and other third-party brand material belong to their owners and must be used only in ways those owners allow.

5. Exports and the licence

Screenshots and artwork you export are yours: use them commercially in app stores, on your website, in ads and in documentation. Templates are licensed to you for creating your own store artwork — see the Content Licence page for the plan-specific scope and the limits.

6. Manual store handoff

ZIP download is available on every plan. On Pro and Scale you may also save your own App Store Connect API key or Google Play service-account JSON and push a saved ZIP into a listing version. You stay responsible for your store listings, for the keys you supply, and for complying with Apple’s and Google’s requirements.

7. Acceptable use

If you misuse the service we may suspend the account, remove content, or end the subscription. Paid time is not refunded when an account is terminated for abuse.

• Do not use the service to break the law, or to create content that infringes someone’s copyright, trademark or privacy.
• Do not upload malware, or use uploads to attack the service or other people’s systems.
• Do not resell access to the service, scrape it, or try to work around plan limits.
• Do not publish deceptive store assets — screenshots must represent what your app actually does.

8. Service changes and availability

Shipshot is under active development: features ship, change and occasionally retire. We try to give notice in the changelog when something material changes. The service is provided as-is; we do not promise zero downtime, but we work to keep it reliable and to tell you what is going on when it is not.

9. Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Shipshot’s total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost revenue or missed release windows. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Applicable law and disputes

These terms do not select a governing law or an exclusive court. The mandatory consumer and privacy law, conflict-of-law rules, and courts that lawfully apply to you and the independent operator determine how a dispute is handled. Contact support first so there is a practical opportunity to resolve the issue informally.
