Your content stays yours

Screenshots you upload, text you write and designs you compose remain your property. Shipshot stores them so it can show them back to you and render them, and for no other purpose.

Shipshot does not train any model on customer content.Not on your screenshots, not on your copy, not on your compositions — not for its own models and not by handing them to somebody else’s. This is a commitment about what the product does, and the product contains no code that would do it.

What you may do with the images

Everything Shipshot exports is yours to use on your own App Store and Google Play listings, on your website, and in your own marketing — with no attribution, forever, including after you stop paying. There is no Creative-Commons obligation and no credit line anywhere in the licence.

Free exports after the first complete set carry a small “Made with Shipshot” line inside the image. That is a watermark on the artwork, not a restriction on the licence: it is visible on the canvas while you design, and a paid plan removes it.

Using the images on listings you publish for a client you bill requires a paid plan. The plan each licence belongs to is stated beside it on the pricing page.

Device frames

The device bodies Shipshot draws are its own original artwork: generic proportions, no manufacturer logo, no wordmark and no copied industrial-design detail. They carry no third-party licence, which is why there is nothing here for you to comply with when you publish them.

Accounts, guests and deletion

You can use the editor and export a set without an account. Signing up claims the work you already did rather than copying it. A guest account and its projects are deleted automatically after a month of inactivity, and asking for an account to be deleted deletes its projects, its uploads and its exports with it.

What Shipshot does not promise

Shipshot produces assets at the exact dimensions Apple and Google publish and checks them against the rules those pages state, with the date each page was last read shown beside the number. It cannot promise that a listing will be approved, that a store will not change a requirement, or that a screenshot will sell an app. Where a rule is Shipshot’s own judgement rather than a store’s, every finding says so.

Payment

Subscriptions are billed through Stripe, which holds the card details; Shipshot never sees them. Cancelling stops the next renewal and leaves the plan active until the period you already paid for ends. Prices are the ones shown at checkout, in the currency shown there.
